EnAct Community Action continues to grow its Non-Emergency Medical Transportation fleet.
Thanks to the generous donation from the Kanawha Valley Regional Transit Authority (KRT) with the assistance of the Kanawha County Commission, EnAct Community Action has added a para-lift van to its Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) fleet. Having a para-lift van in the fleet will greatly assist EnAct in providing a much needed service to the disabled population.
In addition, North Central Community Action in conjunction with WV Office of Economic Opportunity donated a 12 passenger van to the fleet. This van will be used to transport the NEMT members to regularly scheduled appointments such as kidney dialysis.
