EnAct Community Action received a “Launch into Learning” book grant from The Molina Foundation. The grant consists of over 3,000 new pleasure reading children’s books, coloring books, and sticker books. The books are appropriate for ages 4 – 12. “We will be providing 30 different day care centers, libraries, and Head Start centers in our five county area with a nice supply of new books” commented Brent Pauley, CEO of EnAct Community Action.
The EnAct team members and volunteers will be sorting the books on Tuesday, March 27 at the Mountain Mission warehouse from 8am – 2pm. Book recipients will come to the warehouse to pick-up their supply of books or EnAct will deliver to those who are unable to come and pick them up.
“This is just another great way EnAct Community Action can improve the lives of the low-income families we served” added Pauley.
