EnAct Community Action was able to work with Group Workcamps during the week of June 13-17 in Boone County. We sponsored the workcamp that brought approximately 400 volunteers to Sherman High School in Seth, WV with grant funding from AEP and Home Depot. Together we were able to complete work on over 50 homes in the Sherman District, from painting ceiling and coating aluminum roofs to building wheelchair ramps and porches. EnAct Community Action looks forward to starting the application process for the 2016 Workcamp that will be hosted at Scott High School, in Madison, WV. Check back in the coming months for more information or  contact our Service Coordinator in Boone County for more information regarding eligibility.
